Tiefparterre label honcho MR.DERO delights us with a new remix he did for the London based acoustic trio MORE LIKE TREES. Whilst the debut album 'Roots, Shoots & Leaves' of the band is available since August last year, BBE Records released a remix Ep last month.
Mr.Dero's remix of the lead single 'The Night', impresses through this beatsmith's typical hallmarks; greasy MPC-grooved drums and an obese bass, make this slowed down Hip Hop remix to a smooth summerly head-nodder.
Special Thanks goes out to radio FM4 for putting the remix into their actual radio rotation and watch out next month for more Mr.Dero material featuring Bam from the legendary Jungle Brothers.
The Remix Ep comes complete with a remix from Afrikanz-on-Mars, with an Dancehall version of the original track 'Rubin'.
